START Foundation is dedicated to nurturing entrepreneurial talent with a projected capital allocation of 10+ MCHF over the next five years. Our activities are designed to support and enable students to grow their initiatives and succeed in their entrepreneurial journeys. To achieve this, we have developed a comprehensive development funnel that guides students through various stages of involvement and growth within START, culminating in the launch of their own companies and participation in the HSG START Accelerator program.
We employ a dedicated team of full-time staff to:
Support students: Manage new products and services of START.
Build Strategic Partnerships: Integrate external stakeholders, including corporations, VCs, Governments, and Academia, expanding the geographical footprint of START in collaboration with the student team.
Facilitate Project-oriented Fundraising: Set up a robust platform for project-oriented fundraising.
Promote Subsidiarity: Ensure that the foundation manages only tasks and responsibilities that cannot be handled by students to preserve and enhance the spirit of START.
Advisory and Foundation Board: Establish a foundation board and an advisory board consisting of experienced entrepreneurs, professors, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders. These advisory board members will work in topic-specific committees to maximize their impact on the organization.
